Song and Dance Man

Peter Graves looking absolutely gorgeous appearing on the Dean Martin show in 1969 and 1970. You wouldn't think from looking at the top photos that their dresses were bright orange! But there's a snippet of this number, 'A Well Known Fact', in the memorial video on youtube, and there they are in orange nightdresses. (You can also see another few snippets of these shows, including a short bit of clarinet playing.)

Why, why, why aren't these Dean Martin episodes available online? I want to see more of Peter singing and dancing and playing the clarinet! And doesn't he look happy in the top one, surrounded with ladies?

    1. He looks good in anything, but he looks especially good in that :-)

  2. And would look especially especially good out of it. Oh, dear, mustn't go there, brain will be useless for days.

  3. I love seeing footage of him of singing! How could one man be so gorgeous? Also, is licking your lips a lot contagious? Cause ever since my obsession started, I notice I've been licking my lips a lot like he did!

  4. Those frilly girls look pretty happy to be with him, too. I wasn't surprised that he could dance. Runners generally have good rhythm, especially the high hurdles but my heart dropped out of my body when I first heard him sing. I immediately imagined him puttering around our garage, tinkering with some small part of an old roadster's engine, humming and singing snippets of Cole Porter around the cigarette pinched between his white teeth.
